Scheduling your well woman exam is one of the most important steps you can take toward your overall health. We screen for conditions that are very treatable when detected early. Your exam will include:
Vital Signs
We check your blood pressure, heart rate, and weight, good early indicators of conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and Type 2 diabetes.

A clinical breast exam to check for lumps or other abnormalities. If appropriate, we'll order a routine or diagnostic mammogram to clarify findings.

Your provider assesses the health of your uterus and ovaries. A Pap Smear will also be performed if indicated, to screen for cervical cancer.
